Who We Are

We’re a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit building a different kind of newsroom – one that combines rigorous investigation with innovative storytelling. Our team grew up in authoritarian regimes, reports from conflict zones, and understands firsthand the patterns we track. We bring this deep well of experience to our mission of connecting global trends to local communities.

What We Value

Accuracy: Facts are facts. Lies are lies. It may be becoming harder to tell them apart, but that’s our job.
